55g light went down. The replacement power supply was 110. I ordered 4t5ho fixture. If its good enough for tidel gardens ita good enough for my tanks

Yeah. Not too worried about replacement it is what it is. Can’t beat the fixture though

Yeah thank you. I love the shimmer of leds but the color and growth of t5 is unbeatable. I don’t need the controls. I’ll play too much lol

Ok someone needs to add this, T5 hybrid here, not like mh but you mentioned heat before dude, T5s produce heat!

I know. I figured a way to cool the tank cheaply w a controller and some fans. MH are hotter. I’ve had t5 on my 10g and as long as I had enough surface agitation they did fine

I keep my tanks in the basement. If the basement get above 72 its a mircles

Hey all. went to the lfs store today. I met a beast!

This guy is as big as my hand. He immediately came at me when I ducked down to take a pic. Who needs Bigfoot..we have Bigclaw

CaribeSea makes “LifeRock”. It’s what I used in my tank instead of live rock. Love it! Anyway, comes in all shapes and sizes, but I have never seen a single piece that is big enough to be it‘s own island..

My pics don’t do it justice. Has all little ledges , hiding spots inside. You can’t tell from the pics how big this thing. I couldn’t pick it up

Going back tomorrow after they get their fish delivery. He’s going to call me to let me know when he picks it up so I get first look;Happy
