I think Katina's tank has a cover for the overflow. I had returns coming out of the top of mine and never covered it. I only had a few jumpers through the years.

It will. Hippie kid and I have both had jumpers.

This is the way I did the back of my 140. Of course, I can walk behind the tank, so it was very helpful - especially for seeing jumpers that ended up in the overflow.

Ok...the Serene light needs a frosted "screen" plain is plain frosted. Or... iridescent frosted with a bubble design? Or plain frosted with thicker white coral silhouettes? Just getting opinions.

I would favor plain I take it lights are to enhance the insides of tank not distract with designs that draw the eye? This is strictly personal so you gotta go with what you feel in your heart. Imagine the perfect reef then what you want behind it. The answer is within you grasshopper

How much back glass are you actually working with? In the photos it only looks like 6”-8” on either side of the overflow. How dies the white overflow work into the whole concept? Maybe you are just waiting to surprise us with the final look?
