Yes she is. They generally don't heal after a wound like that.
I had one that did that not sure what happened. I would leave it and observe. If it's dead you will know. Ghey don't release toxins into the water and the ink isn't toxic either. But you dont want it to rot in the tank.
 
What could have caused it??

is it possible I stressed her out by picking her up and moving her during the day yesterday?
No I pick mine up on a regular basis and they are in tide pools for kids to touch.

I still have power but I just saw the tank temp dropped from 77 to 75.
No WiFi :/

stupid ice storm.
Could that sudden decrease in temp possibly stress it out?
We went from low 60s to freezing rain in 24 hours. So my house dropped to about 65* before I caught the temp in the tank.

No its a slow drop and 75 is not a big deal
 
There are parisites that will do this to tresterial animals. It would make sense that there a parasites in marine environment that would as well.
