Some normalcy - and privacy - returns. The fence is done and patio cover is almost done. Screening it in next week - hopefully. The hot tub feels good this evening. It has been more than two months since I have had a good soak.

Working just fine for going through two hurricanes sitting out in the open (after the patio came down in Laura). It has a few scratches and small cuts in the cover. My insurance will pay for replacing the damaged panels though.

Just fine. She does miss her fenced in yard. She can still get out until the screen room is finished. The gate and lattice panels blew out in the storm, so still a gaping hole that will be covered by the screen.

Ok, everyone. The 75g conversion from freshwater to saltwater has FINALLY begun. The tank is now empty, and my husband plans on building the stand this week, as long as he doesn't get called in to work. Its tempered glass all around, so no sump. I'll be running a canister and a Tidal 110. I've almost decided on ViparSpectra 165w (2 of them) for lights. I'm waiting to hear back from TBS to see about one of their live rock packages. If I can't get it from them, I'll get it from KP. It occurred to me that I haven't made a plan as far as powerheads. My 29g has an IceCap 1k gyre, and I really like it, but I don't know if a gyre would be the best option for the 75. Can I get you're thoughts on that, please?

I ran 2 of the 1k gyres on my 75 for a while...no issues. Had them on opposite ends from each other and set them to run opposite of each other... only ran them at max 70% more than enough flow.

There lots of options. I use two eflux on either end and run opposite at 40 percent plus the canister great flow.
