The thread is on a technical tick over, waiting for the reef mommy to have the time and desire to update us once a new "normal" is restored, I'm sure she misses us as much as we miss her.

Just checking in. As some of you know, my town was hit with yet another destructive act of nature. We had 16” of rain in 6 hours. My house flooded for the first time in the 36 years that I have lived here. We had between 4-5 inches of water in the house. So lucky yet again that I don’t have my tank set up yet.

The water restoration company has been here since last Wednesday gutting my house to get it dried out. I am staying with my mother until my place is livable again. It sucks, but I suppose it could have been worse. Hurricane season starts next week and there is already a disturbance in the Gulf. Sigh...

Anyway, here are a few pics of the carnage.
