Ever wonder what the most common answer is at REEF2REEF?

I’m certainly biased based on what threads I actually read, but I think it is this:

Test error!

Seriously, if you get an unexpected test result of any kind and need to ask about it, the best answer is very often test error.

Always doubt any unusual result!

Don’t try to fix it until you are sure it is real.

If you are a new hobbyist and get any result that you are considering asking about, start off by not believing it! Then ask folks.

Not every result is possible, even when you repeat it.

“ It’s Aipatasia burn it with fire! “

Seems to be popular also :p

I believe this to be the explanation for 100% of display tank ammonia control issue posts ever made in reefing forums.

And all to come.

I don't always reply to R2R threads. But when I do, I prefer to say, "verify your test results!"

EDIT: Woh,,, this a month old thread. Not sure how I ended up here. Sorry...

This is easy, And the winner is..........."Increase your clean up crew" even if it is in fact the wrong answer most of the time.

I watched a snail that was covered in valonia and had a majano cemented on to its top crawl up the side of my tank this afternoon, and did nothing about it. I think I've done my bit for laissez-faire reefing this week.

The “Add this chemical and it works great !! “ regardless if it melts your tank and all it’s inhabitants :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:
