This isn’t a question about the care or rarity of wrasse however I want to know one thing from all you wrasse lovers out there, what is YOUR favourite wrasse that was discovered between well, when the first wrasse was discovered to now? I have a few, and if you do then show them all!! I’d love to see what wrasses you think are beautiful and if you own them, show us some photos of your personal specimen!
Here’s mine:

Pseudojuloides paradiseus (Specifically the males) - Discovered in October of 2020. Photo from a Reef Builders

I have to add this since it was VERY hard to pick just one Cirrhilabrus so I’ll add:

Cirrhilabrus Naokoae - Discovered in 2009 (Couldn’t find the month it was discovered in)

Talking about the wrasses earlier with you and seeing this thread lead me to a search on Reef Builders for 'newer' wrasses.

Cirrhilabrus wakanda
I really love the coloration on this one!

This one from a few weeks ago has an interesting color morph from juvenile to adult. I prefer the electric yellow/green with the blue of the juvenile over the adult coloration though, but still an interesting change even if I'm not overly excited over the adult color.

The bold red of the adult is very nice though. Just wish it kept some of the blue.

I saw the Coris, it really is beautiful, didn’t realise that rhe blue was the juvenile and the red is the adult, maybe I’ll try grab one in the future if I see one!
The Paradise Pencil Wrasse is also on the list that the coris is on, I wonder what other wrasses people love!!
Wakanda is a beauty to, similar in body shape and colour to the lubbocki’s!

The Wakanda is very nice. Tried doing a quick search and not surprisingly no one seems to offer it for sale.
