I decided to swap out my dosing method yesterday and drove over to Aquarium Specialty to get the new set up.
First let say how lucky I am to have a local shop that has some of the high end type equipment in stock. My dosing pump was giving me a fit and I needed to get something up and running before I went back to work.
I went in and talked with Scott and got to see what they have been up to with Aquarium Specialty Live. It's been awhile since I had been and WOW what a set up he has going.
Walking in I saw where they were getting display shelves to display all the familiar equipment and additive potions that we are all familiar with. There was a bank of tanks along the front wall but my attention was immediately drawn to the large Cadillac of a frag tank he has showcased here on R2R. The back room that was empty last time I was there had two large farm tanks going just stuffed with some sweet corals.
There were more than a few good sized colonies of acros that he was working on coloring up.
Zoas of every color combo you can imagine. A nice pectina caught me and my daughters eye and he said he had been growing it out for sometime. That's definitely on my wish list for a future purchase.
I occasionally window shop on their website and it seems there is so much more that they are working on that is just Waiting to get pics on the site.

I know a lot of our big name vendors have spent years building up their reputation and coral banks but I can see Aq Spec Live making a big impact on the coral market. In some of the other talks I've had with him on what he has done and is doing is pretty impressive to someone still new to this hobby.

Aquarium Specialty Live is definitely the one to watch.
