Hello all
I know this question has been asked many times and i read different answers on many forums. I think on putting rocks first than sand and at last water inside the tank. The reason is the tank is inside the wall and there is not much space to put inside the tank for rocks. So i think on putting glue inside the tank on rocks while they are dry. On the other hand putting water at first will be much easier for mixing the salt. I need some advice from pro's. Thanks

!!! Welcome to R2R !!! I will put rock first, you can also glue the rock outside the tank or inside, then the sand and last the water but I would mixed the water before put on the tank.

@Ugur Dogan welcome to R2R

Yes, many answers and ways of doing it for sure.

My personal preference is the rock whether dry rock or live rock starting with my base then building formations. I like to change mine around from time to time so I do not glue mine (just my preference) but sometimes I will use small rods to hold some structures but not often.

Then I add the sand and lastly, saltwater which I mix separately in a brute can or similar container versus mixing saltwater in the tank.

*If using dry sand I rinse it (tap is fine) until it is clear water or you will have a cloudy tank for quite some time. If I use and I admit, I do like to use 'live sand' sometimes it is not rinsed and clears within a day IME.

I ll use live sand. I bought 2x20 lb Caribsea Arag live Special Grade sand and 3x15 lb two little fishes outstanding live aragonite. I ll use the two little fishes on the bottom and caribsea on top of them. ı ll use them without rinsing.
