At first it was cool, now not so much. What you might ask.
The explosion of the population of Trochus in my tank.

A while back I found a few, three or four, small Trochus snails in my system. They’d been alive long enough their shells are dark and they clearly juvenile Trochus. Cool I though. Until now.

Now I’d like to find Trochus birth control. There’s literally a TON of them in my system. They’re in the display, in the external overflow, in the sump. Pretty much everywhere. If even half of these things live I’ll be over run by Trochus snails.

I have hundreds that come out at night, but they are good for the small nooks, its crazy how the reproduce in tank so good.

Ya, it’s like there was an explosion. It’ll be interesting to see how many survive.

I didn't think of that. Trochus snails are rare and near
Y the price of gold around here. Maybe I can pull dome out and put them in a small tank and see if I can grow them out.

I have what seems like a couple hundred Limpets, luckily, they stay pretty small. If you're in DFW, I'll take a few Trochus off your hands lol.

I agree with selling them. Perhaps wait til warmer months for shipping but could probably get away with USPS priority if the cost wasn’t extreme with the option of overnight at buyers expense
