Everyone loves a good clownfish, so we thought we'd throw up just a few examples of some of the new ecolabeled Papua New Guinea Clowfish that we received from EcoAquariums PNG!

These clownfish are unmatched for color, quality, and sheer crazy color variation by any wild clowns that we've seen. Even the "stock" Perculas and Maroons are vibrantly colored, with highly variable markings. Perfect for injecting some new blood and vitality into your breeding program! The numbers correspond to their tags, which provide complete collection information about the individual fish. You can trace the tags on EcoAquariums PNG's website: EcoAquariums PNG | tracking numbers

That's 13270, a "Spot Maroon" Clownfish with vivid colors and a dot on one flank!

Here is 10939, which has been called a "Bolt" Maroon, because of the strange variation off of the vertical line.

Ah, 13225, which we have affectionately named "Squiggle", or. more formally, "Mr. Squigglesworth". Wonder why?

And here is Percula 11719, with a LOT of black on his sides, and really great color! The PNG people call 'em "Super Percs", and we agree!

If you're looking for a specific color or pattern variation, check our site often, as we are regulalry putting new ones up. We'll have a few more up this week, I'm sure!

If you gotta have wild caught clowns, these are the way to go!

Exactly. We are big fans of captive bred specimens, but are very happy to offer these sustainably collected wild ones!

Are you guys ever going to get these back?in know this is back 2012.
LOL, I wish we were, bit the outfit that was exporting them no longer exists, and there are very few operations working in PNG at all...May be a while still...;(

I've got a bonded pair of png clowns coming my way soon....the female is 3" and the mail is 1.5". The female is a white stripe maroon and the male is.....a lightning maroon clownish! Hopefully I'll get them going on behind and have offspring to sell if anyone is interested.

Very nice!but I'm looking for percula if possible with black. When you guys had some in the nyc aquarium they looked awesome. Couldn't get them then I wasn't ready. But thanks for the heads up.I'll keep checking with you guys

LOL, it happens... Yeah, I saw that article. I've talked with Ret (Talbot) about the possibility several times over the last couple of years and he indicated that there were always a couple of persons trying to do something with PNG..It's a very difficult environment to do business in, although, ironically, because of the mining business there, transportation in and out of PNG has never been easier...still not "easy", I'm told- but more accessible and consistent..Fingers crossed!
