This is my sump has two socks a compartment for proteins skimmer and compartment to trap bubbles and a compartment for the return pump. What would be the proper costruccion for a 75 g ?

you are missing a fuge compartment/media compartment for this to be a standard sump.

agreed, nice sump can you put some chaeto on the right hand side. only problem I see if flow but it should grow.

Looks fine to me. A refugium isn't a must for a sump. For that size of a sump, I'd consider skipping the fuge and run a biopellet reactor instead. In a small sump, a refugium can actually be worthless at removing excess DOC's via macro algea growth depending on the refugium's size.

Trido I agree. I do not use rfuge is a 20g long sump. But talk to the owner of the pet store and what I need is a bio pellet reactor. I am interested to see how are your sump are.Gracias

Can you post a couple of close up pics of your filter sock area. I want to do something like that with my filter sock and holder.
Thanks
Ken

I have a 150 gallon sump with a very large refugium, large return chamber and a very large skimmer chamber with about 80 pounds of rock under the skimmer. Pictures of my sump will do no good for you.

Mine is setup the exact same way, same skimmer except mines a larger size as mines on a 180. May steal your filter stock idea though, really like that setup on that drain. Less is more, it works as a nice settling tank.

Going go do mine like that make filter socks easier to change.

The far left on mine holds an up flow ats. I don't run a skimmer, or use filter socks.

I have since upgraded pump. That one was just a mock up, been going on for about 6 months. Works good too. I am building a new one out of acrylic and using leds for tank upgrade.
