I'm bored of my current scape that I didn't even so myself so I want to rescale everything. What's the best way to go about this considering all the coral I have? Could I take out 5 gallons in 2 buckets and just let them sit while I rescale?? Let me know any idea you know of or use!
Thanks!!

This is my tank right now

You could use 5 gallon food safe buckets. Lowes has them and I think HD does also. If you want to be careful, you could run an airline with an aerator stone in each bucket.

Ok! That was my original plan, have a bunch of home depot buckets. I was just making sure that wouldn't be a problem, thanks!!!

Your tank looks clean and we'll maintained so it probably won't be a problem but try and make sure you don't disturb the sand bed or stir up detritus too much as this is where problems arise.

I already did it, turned out well and everything seems to be doing fine! I did Stuf up quite a bit of sand though

It was just the sand stuck in the bottom of rocks though. Ill post pictures later tonight

Glad it went well. I've seen a few tanks where an ammonia spike was seen after really stirring everything up but don't think it's a problem in a well looked after tank.
