So, a few months ago I had sorta of a tank crash on my frag tank... a starfish that I used to keep in my sump to keep things clean down there decided to commit suicide by going to the protein skimmer's pump...
I got home one day after work, and when I look at the frag tank I see what it looked like a planted freshwater tank... there was algae all over, I mean all over...
Not to go into a lot of detail and make this post extremely long, needless to say that some of my corals too a turn for the worse.
In one of the eggcrates I had in there, there were this six overgrown frags of tyree war and peace favias... they had started to grow onto the eggcrate.
A few days after the incident, they were barely alive, mostly just skeleton, but I left them in there regardless...
Probably, a month and half after that incident I start seeing them recover, however, the colors had changed!!! [emoji848][emoji848][emoji848]
Let me show you guys what I have been cooking for the past few months.... very exciting.
They are all the same coral. Tyree war and peace favia... What is very interesting is that, I have a CB Apple Jacks favia, and this war and peace started developing the Apple Jacks' colors, but on steroids...
The colors are much much brighter, though.
