So it's about time I made this thread. About a year ago I got myself a used 34 gallon Red Sea Max Reef tank. First saltwater and it was in rough condition. The glass is scratched to hell because the guy had a pretty bad Coraline outbreak and he removed it with a blade. So it's not super pretty but I love it.

It came with two clowns and a pink spotted goby and after a year of set backs with it I'm happy to say I'm finally adding some new house mates to it. Will post updates later but I'm super excited!

So the new additions are adjusting nicely and it's time to show you guys what I got. At the moment my tank is having an algae bloom but I have some snails and crabs on the way. I also ordered some copapods as well and a new coral.

But for the moment I have added: 3 Pajama Cardinals, 3 Green chromises, a cleaner shrimp and a beautiful green/blue bubble coral.

Thanks for following!

Nice tank even though it is scratched up, it gives the tank character [emoji106]

Sadly it's scratched up because of the previous owner. I'm hoping that once I get money saved up I can get a new tank

I hope you didn't take my comment in the wrong way, I like your tank.

Oh no I didn't lol it's all good. I just kinda realized like the dummy I am that I had already said the previous owner beat it up... Yay not reading lol

How long have you had the brown algea on the rocks with bubbles

How long have you had the brown algea on the rocks with bubbles

The algae started after I introduced the new stuff about a few days ago. I ended up moving the bubble to a different rock simply because I heard they like low flow so I'm trying to arrange that. But because our LFS is 2 hours away I have to order online

New fish update. Sadly I lost one of my PJ Cardinals. He was the smallest I was kind of expected it. My cleaner shrimp has wedged the tiny body between two rocks and his stuffing himself so I'm just going to let that happen. Everyone else seems to be doing fine

The Rescue Squad is here.
Plus a beautiful little Candy Cane frag that I got for dirt cheap.

So great news guys...

Next week I will be ordering a new Aquarium! It's same style and everything for I will have a no scratch easily visible tank! So excited about this

I'm overjoyed for you @KatSea! I think the guy before you must have scraped the coralline off with a putty knife with a jagged edge o_O

Thank you so much. And yeah I don't know what it was but I have decided he's going to aquarium hell for the mistreatment of this poor thing
