Curios if the apogee MQ210 is suitable for reading par under all LED, or the is the more expensive 510 absolutely required?

Depends on the results you’re looking for. If you want the most accurate results and have already invested in your lighting with LEDs grab 510.

If you just want a general idea then a 210 works.

That said if you really want to save pick up a meter rental from BRS for $80.
