After researching and wanting a reef aquarium for years, I finally got one. Year and a half goes by smoothly, then dinos hit. Research and tried everything under the book. From vacuuming out the tank to vibrant, to lights off for a number of days to dirtying up the tank. Lost all the anemones, and sps.The last straw was taking out all the sand, live rock and start over and run with a uv. All until I saw what was under the 55 gallon aquarium, salt creep. The aquarium is only a 1 1/2 years old, I'm thankful things didn't end up to be worse being on the second floor! Lessons are learned in this hobby everyday, costly, but expected. Note to others, steer clear of the dollar per gallon deals. Originally I didn't intend this tank for reef. My question, is there a reliable glass aquarium in the 125 gallon range for around $600? What do you reccomend?
