I have a 150g and unfortunately put in a couple of green hairy mushroom I received for free. Well most of you can probably guess what has happened. The shrooms have completely taken over. I want them gone and have tried about everything. What is the best way to eradicate this invader.

The best way I've find to get rid of un-wanted corals is to pull out the lr that they are on, take it to your lfs and trade for another piece of lr.

Look anything like this?!! :( I've tried everything too. I'm building a new tank. Not 1 piece of rock from this tank is being transferred.

I'd take out the rocks completely. Those green hairy shrooms are really nasty if you cut or tear them. When they die, they can pollute a tank quick.

file fish may due the trick....I bout one about 2 18 months ago and he wiped all my zoads and mushrooms I had.
