Okay I’m in a debate with myself at the moment, I have a plan for an Indonesian dominant tank. One of the debates is a singular clownfish in a Red Sea Max Nano, (18”x18”x15”). What is the smallest clownfish that isn’t aggressive and will be alright with:
- Clown goby
- Yasha goby
- Linear blenny
- Pink streak wrasse
- Hectors Goby
- Another goby or two (Undecided)

- LPS & Mushroom dominant with just one or two Softies and 1-2 SPS.
- Peppermint shrimp (True)
- Nassarius snails
- Bumblebee snails
- Trochus snails
- Mexican turbo snails
- Strawberry conch

all clowns can be aggressive, they are in the damsel family after all. They generally don't get that way until adulthood.

I agree that occys are probably a bit smaller than percs.

I feel your angst ..My ex selected a Blue Velvet Damsel when we were together , ( over the course of 4 yrs ) we have since parted ways and he's no longer here but I kept the Damsel ..Nicknamed ' Deep Blue ' b/c he's taken over and grown to nearly 4 inches & so far he's taken out 2 Tangs and a Dwarf Angel ..I now I have a Snowflake Eel & a Blue Niger Trigger , hoping to tame down his aggressiveness ..so we shall see..I wanted to re-home him but alas no one wants him for obvious said reason LOL I'll probably just have to go forward and build around him ..Bu I hear ya LOL & GL ..Storm
