I know this is not the marketplace section,
just us softies lovers have to stick together so I thought maybe we could start a thread on swapping, fraging, trading, giving/gifting, ect. thread for some softies...

as there not a whole lot of places to get quality softies online I thought we should share our collection thus helping each other out and the reef ecosystem as a whole.

i'll go 1st :
I have :
~a purple/brownish Candelabra Gorg. that I am willing to frag 6'or so.

~a corky sea finger gorg to frag this one would be about 2" fun fluffy gorg. with pink/tan poylops.

~Dragon breath maco algae a nice maco for sump or DT 6" + frag.

~ a could frag a small piece 1" of my neon green sinulira

doing some tank maintenance today I get some pic sup.

looking for:
finger leathers, colts, nepthela - Pinks, whites , purples, yellows
let me know what you all got.

I think this could be a fun thread for us softie lovers!

Sounds good but this is a tremendous undertaking. There could be thousands of posts and it could take hours or days to scroll through the posts to find what one was looking for. Due to sales or trades the posts could quickly become outdated and would need constant revisions via another post. You might also want pictures.
This kind of information is best put into a fully searchable database in order to be most effective.

Also most trades would not be local and the average hobbyist is not set up for shipping.

true, but I dont think there will be thousands of post maybe. I guess we have can cover that when we/if we get there.
I like the idea of a searchable data base. maybe we should make a website reach quick. :)
we could make it where the its up to date pretty easy be having a time limit like 7 days or something where it if not taken by a reefer then they have to re-post.

I totally see where your coming from. but I think we can do this. we can offer basic shipping advice/training and maybe see if we can set up a group shipping account.
just thinking out load here. for every idea there is a 100 problems yes, but I think as a community of Reefers we can over come this.
do you guys?
