Simple. Artistic. Skills, no doubt. I like large mature SPS colonies nowadays, for sure, but negative space and a little symmetry really catch my eye.

One thing that really sets a tank apart is the artistic rock work. I often wonder where some of these people get such massive or tall pieces of rock, as I've never seen pieces like some of these in a lfs in 20 years.

The most amazing tanks to me are the ones that show how much can be done with so little. Yes Apexs, dosers, wavemakers, etc are all very cool but are also not necessary to long term success in the hobby.

This 20 gallon tank runs off of a BioWheel 150 hang on the back filter with a small jaebo powerhead. That's it.
