I bought this as a tiny nub from Steve Tyree 3 years ago. Here's the writeup on it: http://www.reeffarmers.com/routeeditionmoulinrouge.htm

I have waited a long time to be able to post this. It lived in a little 32 gallon nano for more than two years, and for the last 12 months of that time the tank was known to have redbugs. The frag was really struggling by that time, it had stopped growing and looked very weak. I salvaged a quarter sized bit of encrustation scraped off the rocks, dipped it like crazy, and put it in my new frag tank about 8 months ago. As far as I know, there are only two frags, the one shown below and a backup I placed in a friends tank. Here she is, happy at last:

EDITED: Here is the correct picture, apologies for originally posting my Red Planet!

For reference, here is the original Red Planet pic I accidentally posted

Good color, looks really nice :)

Weird, that doesn't even look like the same coral. Super nice but nothing like the link.

I agree and it looks like a nice red planet in low light. Still very nice though. Not sure what made them want to put it on their site though. I would imagine they can get much nicer looking stuff.

Yeah, their picture is pretty crappy though. I can't say for sure it is the same coral in the picture, but it is definitely the same coral that was sold to me by Steve.

I also have red planet. It's hard for me to get perfect colors when I take a picture. Side by side the Moulin Rouge is a little more violet than the red planet. I guess 'nicer' is in the eve of the beholder. I was struck by the piece when I bought it and I still like it very much.

So I was showing this picture to my wife and we realized it IS my red planet. That’s hilarious. You nailed it @Pedoconfuego !

I will update the top post as soon as I get home
