I think I will mount the ballast this way since i am bascially dry in the cabinet . It does take up a lot of room though ..

Why don't you mount the ballast on the piece of cardboard and hide it behind the stand.

The cord is not very long to connect to a laptop.

Thank you. I like them too .Tank is going thru algae cycle now. Kinda driving me a lil bonkers. There are is a lot of color coming out the rock. Corals are appearing on the rock too. Lots of macro algae with micro trying to take over.
Light brown to green film on glass that builds up every few days.
DKH is close to 8 now...woot woot.

Once the ceriths , banded trochus n one turbo snail that came with the live rock . The right side grinds on me with the left being pretty clean.

Good plating purple goodies on the rock.

Well the QT tank was looking like green pea soup from meds n such . I tried several small water changes to no avail .
It's looking pretty sparse in there since I only had the frags in here to clean the plugs .
I did a 100 % water change and broke it all down n cleaned it all up pump , tubing etc .
I had to get help to carry the tank to the bathroom to clean it since the padding n tank r stuck to the board .. Ha Ha.

For some strange reason a few of my reef buddies think that my japanese green toadstool has grown leaps n bounds. It has not they r getting my branching duncan confused as the JGT..
Left side 1 coral above the SIP..

I have almost everything moved from qt to dt.
I have a few frags I have to take to tbdh2o .He can post on his build thread later on why I have them .
Yes the tank is movng along . I am already showing signs of getting to a ulns state since some the corals r paling out a little. I will increase feeding n dosing a few things I have on hand ..
