Went to a local reopening of a pet store . The name is changing and even though I don't like crowd,I really had a great time .
The owners n staff were great . They made sure everyone went home with a prize .
I was pretty shocked that I won a great prize . I actually don't care for clownfish anymore .
That is exactly what I won .

Picked up a Tierra De Fuego and a JF Sour Twist from a hobbyist I knew at the swap /re-opening.
Can't seem to get good colors with the camera.

The clowns I won in the raffle unfortunately were not in great shape when I got them . One passed away this morning . The other was stressing pretty bad and exhibiting the same .
Any who I took both back to the store . I was pretty sure it was not my doing and will resolve this later with the lfs.
Thye lfs gave me a discount for the clown troubles on the pygmy ..Kudos ..to University Aquatics ..
In the meantime I spotted this cute lil fish . I moved the rainford goby from qt to the cube .I also added a Bangaii with the Golden Angel.
I know it's risky with corals but any pygmy is hit and miss.
Pretty shy so it's hard to get a pic. Will try for better ones later

Well that was odd three pics of the same.
I finally got my tang in. A white tailed bristletooth
. Was listed as small but I wanted smaller since I won't be able to keep it for all that long. . I already have a new owner waiting when the tang has to go to a larger home.
As far as the tang po po r concerned .They r more than welcome to come to the home. I will he happy to show them the meaning of " the right to bear arms ".;-).

That frag is from a good friends colony . They never cut it for anyone. I might be the second person that got one from my friends .
Well it's time to quit bumming water n test kits from buddies.
Took advantage of the holiday savings .
Picked up the big 3 test kits by Nyos. Kinda cheap in form factor n not robust like the red sea. I was glad the mag test was easier to use than the RSF.
The other test kits n ro/ di unit should be here sometime today. BTW don't pay the giga Spencer squash air fresh any mind. I had relatives visit over the holidays n I gave them my last two sets .(it's a jdm thing ). I order ed the mag test n giga spencer from Amazon .

Took a long waited trip to the airport with ECUreefer .. The live rock has finally arrived .
It had all kinds of critters in the bottom of the box.
I guess they were trying to survive the trip from Indonesia. Some did survive .. I also found a live mantis shrimp in there .

The rock seems to be a mix of different types.
Not as much fused as I hopes for but plenty of color n character. It was well worth the wait since May 25th. Rock was air freighted in. This was no boat rock.
This is a pic of one of the rocks . It's going to ECUreefer since he advised me he needs more and it's too big for my 40.
