My Ecotech Tank project as I'm currently calling it is a 75.2 Water Box that I was able to snatch up from the manufacturer at a great price because it was not only a discontinued model. It was also the last one they had in their warehouse. Oh, and it also didn't have a cabinet. But it did have a sump and all the pumping.

I'm heading over to Palmetto Reef in Columbia, SC Saturday to possible be picking up a cabinet for it. *cross fingers*

I plan on powering the Lights, powerheads, and return pump with ecotech hardware and the reeflink. Heater will be a Aqueon Pro Adjustable Heater, and Reef Octopus Classic 110 Space Saver for a protein skimmer.

This whole set up will be replacing my current corner tank that I've had up and running for 2 years now. I've only had 1 tank crash due to a faulty heater which isn't bad saying my current set up has no Sump but a canister filter. SAY WHAT!!! Yep, I've been running this sucker for 2 years on a canister filter that I only clean once a month. Don't ask me why it works but it does. Probably cause I do weekly 10% water changes religiously.

Any how I thought I would share my current progress as I plan to make the big transfer of my liverock, corals, and fish at the end of the month. *maybe sooner* and if any one has any tips for transferring tanks I'm all ears.

PS . Some of these photos were taken when I had an Aiptasia outbreak, which has now been corrected thanks to a peppermint shrimp army. I have now been Aiptasia and green algae free for 3 months.
