Thanks TJ! I ordered it and it should be here on Thursday. Size is < 3" which I was pretty happy with. I would like to add a couple of other Halichoeres. The ones I'm wanting to choose from would be chrysotaenia, iridis, biocellatus and leucurus. Would a couple from this list work?

I have a biocellatus, a melanurus and a timorensis and they all play nice. Iridis is the 1 I am waiting on, I have ordered them twice and both times they were problems getting to the guy I am buying from.

I think any/all of those would be fine.

Later this week I'm going to add the 2 female Macropharyngodon bipartitus wrasses to my 240 display tank that already has 2 female Macropharyngodon meleagris wrasses.
I plan on using a social acclimation box ( 12" x 8" x 8" ).
I've never used one before.
For these wrasses I'm thinking the box should be put down on the sand bed so they have at least some sense of cover underneath them?
How long do you leave them in it?

Hi everyone. This thread is incredible. I'm about to upgrade my 24 to a 93 cube and I'd love to have some flashers in there. Any suggestions on which type? Only other tank mates for now would be two clowns and goby/shrimp pair.

Just picked up a super male lineatus from a local who had problems with him jumping into the overflow (I have a shadow box so good luck buddy) and this wrasse is at least 6" and dwarfs my monster ruby head that's 5". So happy about his new first addition to the 120!

That's awesome! Hope to see a photo soon. They are such a gorgeous fish, and a 6" super male... oh my.

I had a couple of fish do that so I put a piece of glass over the top of it.

I picked up this nice melanurus a couple days ago. It's my first wrasse, I've wanted one for a while. I walked into my LFS to get some reef frenzy, no intent to buy a fish, but I had to get this wrasse when I saw it.

A day or two will suffice, unless you see your current wrasse still riled up towards them.

Any of the flasher species will work in that size tank.
