I do not. I once tried a M. geoffroy, but after the first day and sand dive, she was never to be seen again.

OMG!! I've never seen such beautiful wrasses and your picture skills are even more amazing.No apologies necessary! I tried to get one from NYaquatics but the last one died. If that's the attenuatus that went through DD a month ago or so, I had just as much of a chance of getting it as you. I passed due to bad timing of traveling when it would have come in. I'll find one someday when the timing is right. Beautiful fish.

I mean there's a good chance you'll see them soon, with a certain exclusivity. And the price might not break the wrasse-addict bank... It certainly won't be a $200 fish though.

Decided to add a couple of cleaner shrimp to the tank. I know I have a lot of wrasses and some aggressive toward inverts. But I put these guys (the cleaner shrimp) in late at night, and I knew they would play it safe. got up in the morning and saw one of them out on a rock so I grabbed the camera and took a picture of one of my new cleaner shrimp.
Wait, where did he go. He was right there on the rock. No, no!! It really didn't get eaten, did it?. About 5 minutes later, this wrasse found the second cleaner shrimp. Lesson learned, I won't repeat that mistake again, maybe.

Hey everyone, I picked up my first wrasse last night and thought I'd share with you guys here's my new potters wrasse
Is it abnormal to see any leopard wrasse a few hours after you put it in the tank ?? I read up that they usually hide in the sand for upwards to a week, but I put mine in around 9:30 last night and I woke up to him/her swimming around and exploring its new house so I'm pretty stoked

Same thing with my leopard. I put her in and she stayed out and the next day she came out after lunch time.

they have an internal clock so depending on the attitude of the fish it may come right out and look for food. they don't understand daylight savings time yet so when they come out isn't up to the clock on the wall....
made an amusing mistake yesterday in my tank. I have a few aptasia so I bougt a few peppermint shrimp. not thinking much about my timorensis. he nabbed 2 of them before the got to the sand. his belly was so huge.
I love my Timor wrasse im surprised they aren't more popular. the colors are great.
