The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

They look amazing! Do they flip rocks/frags over as the red coris wrasse does in search of food?

They don't flip any rocks over, but will flip snails over to grab them. At least I have witnessed the male doing it. It's fun having a mated pair. Their nightly mating ritual is a gas to watch.
@Hunter, yes, I have been on the anthias kick lately, but I will forever be a wrasseman. :bounce:

One of my favorites.

Amazing Brad!!! 1 question did you get those elegant wrasse's from a LFS or an online vendor? I don't see them commonly available..

Well I put my order in for my naoko wrasse today. Your first photo got me interested and then with AO having a special I just had to have one.

Sweet! Definitely a good looking fish, especially when they are flashing! Mine's a nut when the whites go off for some reason, it's when he starts his flashing..

The awesomeness of this thread transformed it into a STICKY!

Brad Syphus- do you still have the feminus wrasse? I'd love to hear the story around that one.

Did it become male while you had it, and if so... any pics?

That is my dream wrasse...
