After being MIA for 3 weeks look what I just saw 5 minutes ago.

Awesome! Had my Vivien for two years and after transferring fish to new tank she has been on a messed up schedule and disappeared for 4 days again. It will be the fish to give me a heart attack

For those who like Labroides, has anyone kept Labroides bicolor? What has been your experience with that specific species in the past?

I've kept Labroides dimidiatus in the past without issue in older setups, but never L. bicolor, and recently have seen some for sale. Wondering if they adjust as well as L. dimidiatus, or are more picky about switching to a prepared diet?

I have found them to be more finicky, and they get quite a bit larger than the regular Cleaners. They seem to have a much more extreme cleaning behaviour than L. dimidatus.

Interesting. Fishbase has 14cm as max size for dimidiatus and 15cm for bicolor. Maybe the bicolor just tends to get collected at a larger size?

I think so - I also saw a similar thing. 5 inch is still rather large for a cleaner wrasse. Usually in captivity the Dimidatus gets 3-3.5 inch I have never seen a 4” one though.

All my wrasse eat nori. Potters ate more then two tangs
My fish get fed tons of food so for me it’s not hunger.

Yup, my old Macropharyngodon, Labroides, Halichoeres, Thalassoma, Gomphosus, and Pseudojuloides all ate nori.

Everything in my 4’ tank eats nori, nothing in my nano eats it. I assume it’s something they pick up from tangs and rabbitfish as I have a ton of fish that “shouldn’t” eat it, eating it. I even had a flashing tilefish that ate it.

Haha, it does - She’s Not gone near it yet, don’t know if that’s due to it being partially closed up and not completely out though.
My pink streak took one look at the clam but swam away, I assume it was hunting for a certain snail that an hitchhike onto it.
