Hopefully one will be an addition to my tank….next week. But don’t tell anyone shhhhhhhhh. I plan to feed mine what I feel all my other wrasse and fish. I feed them almost all of the SanFrancisco Bay Brand and Formula One foods so tons of different things to name lol give them a look up. Whole kinds of meats and some veggies, not nori though they may try it.

I googled it and called the fish store that I bought it from (online) and tried the fine mysis and chopped up stuff. Only thing he will eat are pods and baby brine (when I hatch them)

Get the PE brand of mysis. The other stuff turns to mush.

Way before lights on and go to bed right before they turn off. Probably 14 hours they are out.
the two smaller female viviens late risers early to bed the male is up with choats and goes to bed with them.

My naoko’s wrasse isn’t getting much love from me today. He was small. My cleaner shrimp was large. They’ve been getting along for a couple of months but I think the shrimp is gone. Ugh. Fire shrimp still alive though.

Need your thoughts fellow wrasse lovers! My beloved pink streak jumped after 2.5 years and I’m on the hunt for new fish. I currently have an IM20 Peninsula.

I was thinking of adding a Mcosckers and Cirrhilabrus flavidorsalis but not sure if they would butt heads. The other option was a pair of Mckosckers.

Down the road I plan on getting a 60-80g where I can hopefully get a leopard and 3 fairy wrasses.

I was thinking of adding a Mcosckers and Cirrhilabrus flavidorsalis but not sure if they would butt heads. The other option was a pair of Mckosckers.

Down the road I plan on getting a 60-80g where I can hopefully get a leopard and 3 fairy wrasses.

That is too small of tank for the flashers. Flashers need room and are jumpers. Best to wait for the upgrade. It will give you drive to get the upgrade going

Gotcha. I wasn’t sure. Some sources I’ve seen have said a Mckoskers can be in a 30 and others say 50. I’ll probably go with a pair of Helfrichs then

A lot think flashers can be in a small tank because they are smaller wrasse. Unfortunately that’s not the case.
Yes helfrich! They are awesome fish

Did anyone else know that Labout's fairy wrasses glow under actinics when you use orange lenses?

Doubt the wrasse killed the shrimp. Any other fish? Maybe it’s hiding?

Could be hiding but the cleaner shrimp is almost always out, especially when I feed. We’ll see.
