In terms of age, this is without a doubt the best batch I’ve seen. Every other one I’ve seen had been ‘super male’ and quite old as well.

Many lives have been wasted but seems they are starting to figure it out now. Had a few and won’t keep one anymore. Perfect setting and a mega huge tank then I would. Other than that it’s one of the few fish I think is better in the ocean. Fast forward a few years my opinion may change.

Ruby longfin, exquisite, or one of the other tens of fairies. And if you want something that can handle tangs a red coris or maybe even a red breasted Māori?

In a 210 if you go for smaller wrasse you could do a ton! Like 20 fairies, flashers, Halichoeres, leopards, tamarins.

If any of you guys that have gotten Brunneus recently, would you mind sharing some pictures when you happen to get some?

I’m curious to see what they look like in home aquariums, but there isn’t too many photos online compared to other species.

Pics of one of the two brunneus in QT for me. This is the bigger one, so probably going to go for the smaller if it does well.

I looked and looked for pictures in people tank. Never seen one in person.... Dr Reef has one in QT for me

Serious consideration was done of moving the coral beauty to the 110 and adding another band member...

Well it’s not a pure flavianalis that’s for sure, but the lining looks wrong for filamentosus. Maybe a hybrid?

We all know I can’t ID flashers and fairies. But based on the two spiked fin it’s a yellowfin. Either that or it’s one of those dang Gen X snowflakes!!

You might be better than me on some. Nice to know what others see.

The tail has slight crescent and the dorsal.
My choices were blue and yellow but after some help and going to look again we decided filament And yellowfin.
So @i cant think got it.

May go back and grab it but I can’t keep it.
