Does this look like UWND to y’all? Over the last couple days he’s swimming vertically more and more. He is still eating well and can straighten out at times, then goes back to vertical.

Could well be early signs of it. Sorry

How long have you had it?

He came from a reputable online quarantine source and had been through quarantine, then a week of observation with me and a week in the display. So in captivity at least 6 weeks.

Mine is still in the nervous nellie stage and hard to photograph

If I even touch the lid he dives under the sand. If I go near the tank the Melanurus is out front staring at me, but as soon as I grab my phone he runs for the shadows.

Has he jumped at all do you know?

If he has, I haven’t witnessed him doing it. He seems to be a rather calm individual, he’s never “freaked out” like I have seen other fish do.

Still the exact same today as he was yesterday. Begging for food at the top of the tank, just swimming vertically most of the time.

Hopefully just a swimbladder or minor spinal injury. I’ve had fish survive both

Severnsi Pencil wrasse is in house, acclimated, and currently sleeping in the sand. Hoping he comes out tonight or tomorrow! Sadly the leopard didn't survive shipping.
