The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

Always the show stopper: A. femininus. And peaking in is M. choati I see. I will commend you for having the fortitude to throw the Thalassoma in there however.
the banana wrasse has been there for a good while and seems to play nice. I have about 11 wrasses and there isn't any aggression that I am aware of in the 180 gallon display. Lots of food and lots of pods from a productive refugium is a benefit

Feeding is always key. :D Up to 13 wrasses in my 190; soon to be 14.

What are you guys feeding your wrasses? Mine get multiple small feedings of nls pellets couple times a day, cyclopleeze once a day, frozen mysis or rods original once a day, and capelin roe couple times a week. im always thinking of my hungry mouths at home.. Haha

You rich wrasse people and your wrasses!

I'm so jealous... how do you afford such nice wrasses!
Maybe one day I'll have a nice collection for myself.

That Earle is very nice Brett, do you have a female with it?

I worked hard through school, and now I work hard M-F. :) Being debt free helps too (sans mortgage).

Thanks. No females for me, the male took all my $$$.
I don't even both much with females these days; sans for the johnsoni.

Here's my new Naoko. I love me some sexy wrasse!
Gorgous, but be careful with other wrasses alongside him! Can get quite aggressive.

Heard that, the cost of living here in the Silicon Valley is extreme.
$2000-4000 Mortgages, or Rent would be $1300/Single $2200 Double.
Could buy myself several pairs of Earles at the end of each month!

^ What's your feeding regiment? The canary wrasse looks a bit malnourished.

A cube and a half of frozen daily. Spirulina enriched brine, mysis, pacific plankton, krill, flake on occasion. He is 7 years old. He has swam into a running Koralia pump and survived. I thought he was toast when I moved him to this tank 3 weeks ago....body stiff, laying upside down on the sand for 2 days. Give him a break, he's been thru a lot lol :p

I never have either expect on the few that seem to be easier to obtain that way(you'll see soon :) )

Love the little Bipartis Impur, one of my favorites of all time.
