Nice ....

Hey evolved, what is your opinion on mixing female Macropharyngodon? (meleagris and choati in 57g)
The tank is on the small side to support the pods they'll both need. Mixing leopards is ways a bit of a crap shoot; sometimes they won't coexist.

The current meleagris pigs out on mysis all day. Haven't seen her eat a pod since she started eating frozen. LOL

But if there is a risk with aggression, I'll wait until I upgrade.

Sidenote: glad wrestling was not required. :p

There's always another wrasse Hunter, which one is next? Tongeansis or nursalim? I owe you one on the attenuatus, big thanks man. I need to make it up there to visit you Phoenix guys soon.

No thanks necessary; just return the favor sometime. :)

Tongeanensis meh; not sure why but doesn't really appeal to me. Nursalim would be nice however. Now mention hemitaeniatus, and you have my attention.

But personally, I have my sights on something with a tail like a surgical instrument.... ;)

Assuming your talking about what I think, your not concerned about that one becoming a problem child?

Here is a picture of what was supposed to be a melanarus wrasse that I ordered online a couple months back but just found out it was a lunar wrasse.... that explains the terminator response to snails. However it is a beautiful fish and shows zero aggression towards my shrimp and fish so for now it stays.

I didn't even know you could get those in the hobby! Surgical... Lanceolatus?

I won't lie; I cringed a bit the second I saw the picture, recognizing the species in an apparent reef. He's still a bit young, but the aggression level will certainly increase as he gets older. If I were you, I'd get him out now.

Beautiful, they are on my list.
Use caution; they can be quite the aggressor of Cirrhilabrus.

Just picked this guy up

Nice filamentosus. :)

Lanceolatus are obtainable in Japan, with a handful in the states in the last year or so. Expect to pay about $3000. However, lanceolatus is the largest species of the genus, and packs an attitude equally as large; not a species I have interest adding to my collection. But he does have a distant cousin...

I have a 75G mixed reef tank and looking to add another fairy/flasher wrasse. I have a female golden rhomboid that's been in the tank for a while. Any recommendations on a peaceful fairy/flasher wrasse to complement the rhomboid?
