My personal thoughts: up to 12-15 years could be possible.
Possible, perhaps, but extremely unlikely. Like look through various threads and not find 1 that reaches even the lower number on that estimate. So if you have lost a leopard shorter than this, most if not all that have kept leopards, have lost them in less time than 12-15years. A more realistic span is probably closer to 6-8yrs. And if you go longer it is definitely the exception rather than the rule.
