Nice fish bud. I wish the world would stop calling that a yellow coris, its not even in that genus, its a Halichoeres chrysus. Thats my biggest wrasse pet peeve, but even I have to do it or people won'y know what im talking about.

^ Yellow wrasse. Canary wrasse. Yellow Halichoeres.

Just about anything but "Yellow coris"...

:)

Although, I find great humor in Yellow "chorus" wrasse.

I have always felt that since the back half of Halichoeres phonetically sounds like Coris, instead of yellow coris wrasse it should be yellow 'choeres wrasse.

I had a pr in the past without issue, though some have reported that females can be more aggressive than males and in some cases behaving so aggressively toward a male that it resulted in the males death.

You'd be better off adding another female and letting them work out who will be the male.

I rarely if ever "tang police" someone but if I'm not mistaken that's a 3 foot tank?

Those fish are likely to be aggressive given the small tank and you're already pushing it. Just my .02.

I overstock my tanks but my tangs all have 6 foot tanks

A 93g is actually 30"x30". A purple tang should be fine, a powder brown may be pushing it, but there can be many factors besides tank size that will contribute to tang success.

To answer questions in the preceding post regarding wrasse suggestions ; it is difficult to suggest fish due to varying preferences and 'beauty in the eye of the beholder' but the Genera of Cirrhilabrus, Paracheilinus, and Halichoeres have a wide variety of desirable species.

Yeah I often think about getting rid of him . He's still pretty small but growing fast . It does appear sometimes though like he'd like more room to swim . No problems with aggression so far but u can definitely tell he's the boss . Thanks for your honest opinion .
