Yes, sorry I was eatin lunch. Yeah but it depends on volume of food you're putting in there. You just want it melted so you can drain out the nasty water

i see alright ah im going to try that i am going to do some more research but im going to make one of those meals for my fish tonight and see how that works out :) and hopefully post my group of leopard wrasse soon :)

Sounds good! Ps, I found my tiny little black leopard wrasse in the overflow today, so he is indeed still alive. He's literally 1" I thought for sure it wouldn't make it. How cool. I can apparently keep any leopard alive haha

I have photos further back in this thread I believe. I will post a video in a couple days

lol no way that is crazy if your able to get a picture of it and did you purchase any of your leopards online i am trying to figure out if i should wait an order online or go to my lfs and ask them to order me 1 or 3

its so funny i just clicked on page 100 your the first post on there with all your wrasse

I ordered all of mine online, it's one less water system they need to acclimate to and are exposed to (parasites and poor water quality at most if not all lfs).

Live aquaria and pet solutions are where I get all of my leopard wrasses. When I go home tonight I'll snap a picture if I can see him (will be 9:30).

Online is the only way to go because you get 14 day guarantee. So if it doesn't eat or dies you get refund and can try again.

No problem. Keep in mind that they source their fish from the exact same place (quality marine). As such, consider price for the same exact fish. (Since fish come from qm directly they have the same inventory). However, Petsolutions carries ornate leopard wrasse and live aquaria does not. Strange. I love my ornate. If order is under 225 dollars, Petsolutions may also be cheaper because they have free shipping for orders over $99 vs live aquaria $225. So consider that in your price comparisons. Pet solutions has fantastic customer service just like live aquaria.

Be aware though that quality marine that ships for both had notorious issues with female blue star leopards ime. I've ordered probably 8 to get two that didn't die or werent DOA. So buy two if that's a leopard you want. They'll credit you when one doesn't make it or is DOA.

One more important thing. With pet solutions pay the extra 10 dollars for priority shipping for leopard wrasses so it comes as early as possible. Every hour in the bag reduces your chances. It will still be far less shipping than live aquaria

Also they don't call the same species of leopard the same thing. So compare scientific names.

Check availability several times per day or sign up for email notifications when they're available. Both offer that service. They'll both be available within a week I can almost guarantee it.

If you lived nearby I would sell you my tiny black leopard

Also, for what it's worth,

I am 1/1 for ornate leopards surviving, (so first try),
2/2 on black leopards (both made it)
1/1 on potters leopard
2/3 on regular leopard.
1/2 on male blue star leopard (one made it one month but then my wave maker electrocuted my water and I found him dead that morning)
2/8 on female blue star leopard.

Not a large sample size but just so you kno

From what I read the medium do best. I only bought one small and I am more than surprised he made it to be honest.

I think I am very lucky that my only tiny leopard survived
