The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

Lol you weren't kidding about busy

Nope! Water changes get expensive but it keeps them healthy. Soon they'll enjoy their new homes.

Absolutely and your tangs look fantastic

They're pretty fat! the powder blues and the clown tang are new so they're fattening up. I feed several times per day so it won't be long! Nori available 24/7

It's structure that doesn't absorb meds this is a hospital tank

Picked up this guy the other day. LFS didn't know what he was I believe he is a pink margin fairy. Anyways he is now the centerpiece of the tank.

That is a particularly nice rubrimarginatus from the Philippines. The yellow on the belly is spectacular.

Haha ditto!

^. I can imagine so! I eventually want a male kuiters and a chaoti to go with my leopard collection: this far I have a male blue star, female blue star, two black leopards, an ornate, a potters, and two regular melagris.

M. kuiteri can be aggressive. I would not recommend keeping a M. choati (same complex and a much more delicate fish to keep) with one.

I would put the chaoti in my wrasse tank with 7 other leopards, and the male kuiters by himself with my tang tank. Good to know, thanks!

Agree; M. kuiteri is the most aggressive of the genus (generally speaking).
