The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

I just picked up a Dusky wrasse last night. Hopefully it'll make it through quarantine. She was eating before I brought her home. Will post pics when she emerges.

Wrasses are slowly coming back out. Still hiding a good amount of time. How long you think it will take until they are back to swimming all the time?

It can vary. The fewer disturbances and more feedings will help speed ot up.

Will I have an issue with adding another juvenile leopard wrasse? I currently have 1 female leopard, a yellow tang and a few firefish. The tang doesn't bother anyone at this time.

You should be okay, but using an acclimation box is always a good idea. :)

How many wrasses is too many for a 93 gallon?
Currently have a flame, mccosker's, carpenters, yellow coris and a meleagris leopard. Im looking to add maybe 2-3 more. Possibly a lineatus and rhomboid.

There's no set number or rule. What you're thinking sounds fine to me, but I wouldn't do much more after that.

typically it depends upon how aggressive are your wrasses and how long are they been in the tank. since not all are fairy wrasses the might have some aggression.
