Getting acclimated to DT
This is my first time using a acclamation box so far so good nobody seems to be even paying attention to him.

Newest addition to quarantine, only concern is the white spot on top of head (any ideas of what this is please post).
Any chance you could turn the phone when recording the video? It'd give us a better resolution to look at the bump.

For now, guess is lymphocystis.

If the white spot is protruding it can be lymphocystis, if not, than it may just be a damaged scale or the beginning of hlle. I really can't tell from the video.

Nice Duke I see you got one [emoji1474]I don't know about the spot I gave both of mine two hits of prazi during qt
That what I'm about 2 do. I added him yesterday and saw him a few minutes, come home from disc golf earlier and he's out and about, not shy.

I tried getting a closer/better pic but he isn't cooperating with me now and has hidden. Going to keep an eye on as it appeared 2 move slighlty (couldn't get this on video).

Well my new social fairy jumped straight out of my acclimation box into the DT during feeding. I guess next time I will have a separate top for the box so it's not open when my screen top is off...
So far all is well though. The melenurus flared up on him, but that's all. My orchid dottyback gave him a little chase, but only near his cave. Hope he does good, he got the "introduction" and I learned another lesson.

He's surprisingly not shy at all.

I could try to net him, which may be impossible, but I think it may work out. I'm keeping eye on everyone.

So my ruby head is still hiding and being very timid. Last night i went to feed him and after opening the cover he went on the floor, I cannot figure out why he is so stressed. Has anyone experienced this before in QT?

I usually see my wrasse on the floor in the qt the first day to second after that they are usually swimming around or hiding in the pvc but I don't have a ruby head.

What's the time frame in again?

Are there any other fish in the tank with him? Some fish get very stressed w/o other fish around. In the wild, if no fish are out and about, it is usually a sign that there is a predator nearby. He doesn't know there is not a predator in the tank.

Gotten a few glimpses of him today and the spot is gone, also he looked more blue than red now. Suspecting flukes and will dose a 2nd round of Prazipro on Wednesday.
