The Wrasse Lover's Thread!

I love me some wrasse's, so I want to see everyone's wrasse pictures! Please share!

I've been practicing my fish taking.. Snapped a decent one of my Naoko Wrasse, still need to polish up on my skills though!

I've never seen a Naoko wrasse before. It looks like a solar wrasse on steroids lol

So fairies and flashers should be ok to some degree
I'm guessing anything below it that's on Hunters fairy chart that doesn't get bigger than it. I'm fine with flashers, underrated fish. Hoping this doesn't count out tams and leopards but if so, oh well. I won't be making no rash purchases without checking in with TJ and Hunter first now, I'd really love to get this right.

Anywhere from a couple of hours to a few days, depending on the level of aggression shown by the other fish. My P. lineopunctatus has been in the box for a day and a half. The C. ryukyuensis never strays too far from the box and is really keeping his eye on the newcomer.

Thanks guys. May be a silly question but how can you judge aggression through the box? Fin display or trying to dart at it? My other 2 fish have been looking at him, but it appears to be curiosity more than anything. The other tank mates is an orchid dottyback and a melanurus wrasse. The orchid did chase around my long fin/social wrasse which was smaller than him unlike this red fin fairy. I believe initial health and the stress from the dottyback was the reason for his disappearance/death. That guy also jumped out of my first smaller acclimation box on the first day into the DT. I will also add that the orchid dottyback has never shown aggression towards any other fish ever, just that small social fairy.

Got the ruby head into the acclamation box and after a day I let him go. My male pintail did a bit of flashing at first but now they are cool, on the other hand my yellow tang has bee a complete dick to him. I really like having a (4") tang but after time they all seam to turn into bullies..
