Question for the experts here: my tank's 28*20*20.
Would that be large enough for 2 or 3 flashers or better not?

I don't recommended flashers for tanks less than 3 feet in length. They need that much room to really do their "thing".

A Pintail or/and Lubbock would do OK in a tank that size.

I wouldn't keep a Halichoeres chysus (most common fish called yellow coris) in a tank that size.

i was at my LFS yesterday and got to see a number of wrasse, they had yellow coris, and a female melanarus wrasse which was awesome to see

I currently have a lineatus (Cirrhilabrus linneatus) in my 100-gal. Can I add a
Cirrhilabrus Naokoe, Cirrhilabrus isosceles, or both? According to that awesome diagram, it looks like they might be OK together. Can someone please confirm?

Isosceles no problem but use acclimation box. Naokoe will be the issue in that tank. I would not risk. I knew someone with 180 with Lineatus and Naokoe in it. Naokoe took over and pinned Lineatus in corner. Very aggressive wrasse.

Ty sir. I want to get a male isosceles but I’m not sure whether to get initial phase or terminal phase. How long does IP turn into TP for Cirrhilabrus isosceles?

Better luck if get female or young male with the established Lineatus in 100 gallon.

Agree - the naokoe is a BIG risk - best to skip.

There's no way to determine that. It could be a few weeks to a couple years.

I had this Exquisite Wrasse for the last 2 years, ever since he was just about 1.25 inches, emaciated little wrasse. He has done very well, about 2.5 inches, beautiful fat, and healthy terminal male. Ever since I got him, he has had this sore on the L side. It festers, his skin grew over it...

Same temperament will have better chance. Farther apart they are the better also.

Beautiful Exquisite @OrionN ! I'm not an expert in fish disease but if it were a human I would guess an embedded foreign object as the cause.

Looking at getting a bluehead fairy wrasse and I've read both that they DO need a sandbed and DON'T need a sandbed to sleep at night. I have a mostly crushed coral with finer sand in the middle of my 125G.

Which is correct?

fairy wrasses don't need a sandbed, they sleep in the rocks

Thanks, appreciate it. I don't have any wrasses yet but plan on rectifying that. If I have finer sand just in the middle of my tank, would that be good enough if I did get wrasses that bury themselves down the road, or does the entire substrate need to be sand?
