The Wyze cam has already saved my system!!!

I do the same thing. I don't have an Apex, but I have wired in some simple "liquid sensors" around my fishroom / sump and some cheap $2 float switches in my sumps (High level , low level) into a breadboard with labeled LED's. Then I use a $50 PTZ Morvelli (Amazon) camera to "see" the actual status of things like temperature, LED light status', above the tank and frag bins. I also have a PTZ looking into the side of the tank to spot water clarity, coral extension issues.

I think more and more folks are using cameras to get real observational information about their systems while they are away.

My son uses one to watch his tank when he visits his Grandparents and to show friends at school. We agreed audio off. Very cool idea you had to monitor the tank like that.

You may have just cost me $150 or so. Just don't tell my wife that I'm sneaking one in for the basement sump.

My cheapo camera has come in handy several times. My wife will call and say "your fish tank is making a funny noise." I get my tablet and check the cams and have her fix the problem by directing her while seeing what she is doing. I color coded all my cords and plumbing which also makes things easier for the both of us.

why is your leak detector located where it was?

seems to me the sensor should be sit inbtwn your cable raceway by cutting back your raceway so the sensor can detect on both sides of the raceway inbtwn the two floor drains
