I tried searching to see if this has been talked about and couldn’t find anything. I have the large drum style rollermat by theiling installed above my sump. Ever so often it’ll start overflowing out the emergency because the new mat isn’t advancing. If I give it a little bit of assistance it’ll then start working as it should. Anyone run into this and have a solution? Thanks!

I don’t believe the gears are stuck, I’ve taken the wheel off and ran it manually and the motor turns fine. Then put the roller back on and triggered it and it starts to turn but then stops. The only thing it seems like it’s getting stuck on is unrolling the new fleece. If I “pre” unroll some then I don’t have any issues for a while. Theiling support got back to me this morning and suggested it could possibly be a crack in one of the gears. I’ll check that after work.

I have the compact unit as well, no issues at all other then I feel it can’t handle the flow it says it can. As far as the large rollermat goes, the problem is running it with the cover on gets the new fleece wet because of condensation and the motor isn’t powerful enough to roll it. Theiling recommended replacing it but I couldn’t see throwing out a $33 roll!!! So I rung it out the best I could and put a fan on it. Has been working without issue with the cover removed.
