Well I finally am sock free lol. I have disliked dealing with socks for years! And just knowing that if you didn’t clean them out daily all of the food, detritus and anything else that was trapped in them would just break down back into the water. I’ve been eyeing one of these for awhile now and finally just did it. BRS had a sale price on them and couldn’t pass up the deal. And depending on your bio load the rolls are said to last up to 6 months... so best that stupid butt socks lol.

Could not agree more, one of the best innovations in the hobby, and now also (sort of) affordable. Also seen some pretty simple diy options if you know someone with a 3d printer..

Yep 3D printers are a similar newer item that are getting cheaper to get your hands on that have tons of potential, just like the rollermat. I love technology!
