Ok reefers here is the project to end 2019 and start 2020!

I am building a massive 8 ft Frag\Grow Tank system and stand that will be comprising of two - 40 Gallon breeders, may be a third down below and all the filtration, on leveling casters.

I have limited space down here in the basement, so I really wanted something that was moveable if needed. Also considered, if there was an issue with back of the system I would need to get to the back of it easily. So I thought why not casters, of some sort.

The caster I am using has MAX cap. of 1650 per caster..... I am going with 5 casters, 2 on each end corner and 1 in the center brace.

He was a stunner! I really love the Mimic/Chocolate. I was close to ordering one before I had the Powder Blue but couldn't find them anywhere at the time. As soon as I got the PBT they popped up every day it seemed.

John I know all your reasoning, but it scares the feces out of me to think of all the time and money u have invested into ur systems to have them rolling around on wheels. Just a friend concerned. I hope it lasts forever, those are serious casters. But the idea still shakes me.

I hear ya Rick, I do appreciate your concerns. I think your concerns is what drove me to really go overboard on the building. I wasn't planning on strapping it with the 2X6's and these casters until after we spoke for an hour on the phone. You know me bud, better have tried and failed than not tried at all.

Last few nights been busy doing some drilling and painting of the pair 40 gallon bottom tanks. Plan is to have top tanks drain into tank the bottom left tank the will be a full low light tank.... that than drains into the right side 40B where the skimmer, heaters and dual returns will be. Gonna scatter rock work around for growing out sps and encrusting corals between the top two tanks with some racks as well.

Great do as it will system. I considered putting my 40 breeder stand on casters, but $$ and time I decided it would be fine without it. I have complete faith in those casters! They are huge!
