I would like to get some feedback on something of a thought I had. ( I am sure this is not a new thought )

*****Not Saying that I am or will be doing this, just for feedback*****

Lets say you have or will be setting up a brand new system and your waiting for your tank to arrive. As this is a new system, you are attempting to start the curing process of dry rock outside of the main tank (Brute or other type containers) in order to make it live. So for the first month after cleaning the rock you begin the process by supplementing ammonia to start the nitrification process. Then you add established Live rock and add a light over the rock to start coraline production onto the dry rock keeping all the parameters in check as you would if the tank was up and running.

Once your main tank arrives you transfer everything from the brutes/containers ie dry rock (hopefully seeded by then) the existing Live rock and fill the tank. At this point what would be the (this is probably the controversial part) most amount of fish you would/could add at one time?

I ask not for the sake of trying to get a tank up and running the quickest although that would be nice side effect, however I am thinking would it not be better or safer fish wise if you could add them all at the same time if the below conditions were met

1 Low stocking plan
2 All Juvenile/small fish
3 All purchased from same supplier provided they all looked healthy

Once settled after the additions you could go forth and add your corals following your quarantine/dip routines

OR

Would you reverse the scenario and add all your perspective corals and then add your livestock/fish

I hope i explained my thought well enough and look forward to hearing everyones thoughts.
