Nothing in this robby that will eat red hair algae.
You name it and I already tried.
I already tried:
Mexican turbo snails
Banded trochus snails
Nassarious snails
Astrea snails
Cerith snails
Margarita snails
Turbo snails
Sea hare
Yellow tangs
Blue hippi
Bicolor foxface
Regular foxface
Lawnmower blenny
Blue leg crabs
Red leg crabs
Different crabs
Im probably missing some I already tried.....
And nothing will eat it.
The only thing that kills it is peroxide.
I have to remove the rocks from the tank squirt peroxide, brake all my corals on the process, put them back on, and then..... they will come back few weeks after. No algae can be worse than this. This is a nightmare.
this is the only algae I have in my tank. I have been dealing with this algae for over 3 years.
This is not cyano or dinos... I know what they look like it.

Have you tried Chitons, or Abalone or Urchins? Lights out or significant reduction of photo period for a short period of time?

I have some thin striped hermits and they are not picky at all. The best cleaners I've ever had. They haven't tasted red hair algae yet though
