I used Substrate Sauce - same dose recommendation though - 1.25 ml per gallon. I dumped the whole 16 oz in the tank. Smells gross though since it's sulfur bacteria.

I used the red bottle when I was treating the tank with Flux Rx. But I'm Italian descent, so...

Well so far as I can tell I can use this chemical from my work to dose fluoride. Yes Randy seems to think using one of the most lethal chemicals you can find to dose fluoride is of no laughing matter but meh.

Going to have to go back and actually dispose of the stuff soon. Fun fun.

So essentially just do what you want and f the directions

Not that hard to accomplish. Just suggest to someone on this forum that they do a rip clean. We don't have a hate button, but the lack of likes is *deafening*

Doing a quick read through and a glance at their video it looks almost exactly the same though I love how BRS calls the gyres the budget option at almost twice the price

But that's asking ecotech for financial advice... You're better than that, man.

I thought maxspect was a Chinese company. And weren’t they the ones that really brought the gyre style to the market? I wasn’t really keeping up with the tech when they got normalized so I could be wrong

When I needed their support I got an address on Taiwan. So it depends on your politics whether it's Chinese or not.
