Heading down to Florida today. Can’t figure out a theme song. All the songs I know about going south stop in Georgia (because why would you go to Florida) Devil went down to Georgia and Can’t You See. Right now I’m thinking:

Can't hurt to have. Gas is available here, idk about further northt but I would bring it if you have it or get some where you can.

I have 1/4 tank and spent my lunch break from work calling gas stations. Sounds like many of them are scheduled to receive deliveries today or tomorrow.

We've been out in this area since Monday.

You got caught with everybody coming home after evacuation.

I was not able to get gas after work because the tanker is sitting there and the cops are blocking all entrances to the gas station. So hopefully someone closer to home also got a delivery....

Figured out the cause. The part of the Tampa port that controls the gas was without power. That was just restored within the last hour and they are expecting to have tankers out by midnight tonight.

Finally made it to my cabin just west of Orlando. 11:30 drive… Ocala was awful
Had this terrible moment when I pulled up to the state park that is our base of operations starting tomorrow as I saw the “closed at sunset” and closed gate but luckily my State contact saved my butt.

Gassed up in Valdosta plus cans.
